THESE are The Daytime Soap Stars: Joel Bernacchi (guitar / vox), Amy Bernacchi (bass), and Nathan Wiencken (drums). Despite the implications of their name, they seem to be remarkably free of mellow dramatic tendencies, and are best caught in the wee hours of the night, while you're getting your freak on. This song is about my preference to live at night and sleep during the day. The stiff, proper, orderly day. The glimmering, autonomous, playful night. Or so it tends to be. The song is mostly in korean language. Artist: Giraffe Song: Nightoholic Album: Delicious Experiment Year: 2009 Topics: night, work, labor, daytime regulations, nightoholic, giraffe

A FORTRAN program is described for numerical calculation of projectiles' trajectories with two degrees of aeromechanical freedom. Dupuis' law of air resistance is applied under OB expansion unknown standard atmospheric conditions. A time step is selected with regard to initial velocity and air resistance and adapted to the trajectory. The program is considered to be cost effective when many trajectories are to be calculated. Agreement with firing tables is shown to be good. Topics: DAYTIME, LENGTH, REDUCTION, PERIODIC VARIATIONS, SPACE PROBES
A fragment from an episode of "Arthur Godfrey Time". This excerpt, I think, is all I have of the episode. It is a 1950s talk show, and there's a bit of discussion of the hit Broadway musical "The Music Man". Encoding is below my usual standards, as my usual DVD ripper wouldn't rip it properly so I had to use an inferior ripper. favoritefavoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 1 reviews ) Topics: Classic TV, Arthur Godfrey, Arthur Godfrey Time, Daytime television, Daytime TV, Live television
A 15-minute fragment from an episode of daytime TV series "The Garry Moore Show". I don't know if the complete episode survives. In this segment, we start off with a bad commercial, then move to a segment of the cast reading letters from home viewers, and finally a segment (with primitive special effects) consisting a song performance. favoritefavoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 1 reviews ) Topics: Classic TV, Television, 1950s, 50s, Fifties, Garry Moore, The Garry Moore Show, Daytime TV, Daytime...
An episode of "The Betty White Show". Betty is great, the episode is very poor. But another episode on IA is quite good. May have been an off-episode. Still a couple worthwhile moments though. favoritefavoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 1 reviews ) Topics: The Betty White Show, 1954, Classic TV, Daytime TV, Daytime Television, Betty White
An episode of Kate Smith's daytime variety series. Apart from her, this episode also features a burlesque/vaudeville dog act, an interview with a politician about juvenile delinquency, and a mini-musical production, plus original commercials. Since this is a daytime series for the housewives, the production values are a bit bare. Topics: Classic TV, Television, Daytime TV, Daytime Television, The Kate Smith Hour, Early Television,...

A 1968 episode of game show "Dream House". Complete with original commercials (since this is a daytime show, it features more ads than a prime-time show, but the ads are rather fun). Most episodes of this series are presumed lost, and oddly enough the 1980s revival is also largely lost. This show was controversial as many of the homes won in the show were not built. Still, an enjoyable bit of fluff. I think the copyright notice is invalid...am I correct? favoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 2 reviews ) Topics: Classic TV, Television, 1960s, Daytime television, Game show

An episode of the late-1950s NBC revival of "Bride and Groom". This was a show in which a couple who had decided to get married, would get married on the air, and receive a bunch of prizes for doing so. Features the wedding of Honey Dubin and Harold Greer. This was a daytime series, so expect more advertising than a prime-time series. favoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 4 reviews ) Topics: Classic TV, Television, Bride and Groom, 1950s, Wedding, Daytime television

A 1967-1968 daytime game show called "The Baby Game". A very silly, inane show. To be honest, I've seen far better daytime game shows from that era. I uploaded this to YouTube ("MattTheSaiyan"), and now I upload it to IA. If you upload this to YouTube (why?), please note that it aired in a 25-minute time-slot, followed by a 5-minute short program. I believe this is public domain as it lacks a copyright notice. I thought I had already uploaded this, but I can't find it. I don't know if this is a complete episode or not, but here's 43 minutes of "The Garry Moore Show" from 1955, featuring original commercials for products like Lux dishwashing liquid, Franco-American canned foods, and Sta-Flo liquid starch. A delightful daytime series with comedy, music, and talk. Certainly much better than that sleeping-pill show hosted by that lipton-tea addict. An episode of "As the World Turns" from 1961. This episode is about a mother's attempts to get her son back, who was adopted by another two people several years earlier.
